DOI

A Live DOI is a permanent identifier for an active page in the Encyclopedia of Arabic Rhetoric. The Live DOI is provided to facilitate academic referencing and the reliable identification of the resource, including its use in reference management software.

The Live DOI will continue to identify and resolve to the same resource, but the content of the page may be revised, expanded, or corrected over time. A Live DOI therefore identifies the resource, not an immutable version of its contents. When citing a page using its Live DOI, it should be treated in the same way as other continuously updated online resources: the date on which the page was accessed should be included in the citation.

For research requiring a fixed, reproducible version of the Encyclopedia, use an appropriate versioned release of the Arabic Rhetorical Device Taxonomy, where available. Each release of the Arabic Rhetorical Device Taxonomy includes pages relating to the Encyclopedia's theoretical framework, its inventory of Arabic rhetorical devices, and supporting pages such as glossaries of terms.
